We have rested and Bob is now planning the next event for September. Once that’s done then he will be closing up his desk until next year.
I (Lina) just had my Endoscopy yesterday and all is well. They prescribed a generic Prilosec to see if it will help not get the bubble that hurts like heck. I’m glad it doesn’t happen often.
This weekend Dave and Claire (our nephew and niece) are arriving and we will meet them in Sonoma/Napa for some Wine Tasting. Our Bay Area kids will be able to meet us there and have a Bar-B-Q Saturday evening. That will be fun.
We are both fine. We send you hugs,
Bob & Lina

Happy Birthday Eddie today.
Well the Fair is over. Bob got me a job also – long, long, long days. Unreal. I’m so tired. I slept til 11:00 this morning and am ready for bed again. I know Bob is exhausted too. It was fun but I don’t feel my body can handle such long hours. I went out and bought steak and we will have real food for our meal tonight.
I won a 2nd place ribbon at the Fair for a pair of earrings I beaded. That felt good.
Too tired to write more. We are both fine. We just need to rest some.
Hugs to all,
Lina

Just a quick note to let you know that Bob saw the Oncologist this morning. All is fine. The blood tests came in good and he did not feel the lumps. The Cancer is quiet. God is taking care of us. Thank you for all your prayers. Hugs, Lina

This year we have spent time babysitting with all of our grandkids. We do enjoy getting to know them. In June was Erin and had a great week with her at our RV . She is growing so fast. I love her age. We talk and can have discussions now. She loved feeding the ducks at the pond and going shopping in the old town at the little shops.
Corinne, Lucie and Liam were with us for 4 days last week. This was a good chance to get to know Liam and get hugs from him. When he smiles, it’s so David. His eyes crinkle like him and his mouth dimples. Corinne loves animals and bugs. She says she wants to learn about science. Lucie loves babies. She has quite a few baby dolls. They will both start Catholic School next year.
Today I came up with Bob. We have dental appointments. Cleanings, although I can expect to have to make an appointment for a new crown – mega money.
I have entered a few jewelry items at the county fair, so we’ll see if I win any ribbons. I doubt it since the bead work is very simple. But it will be fun to try.
Bob is fighting a cold. I sure hope I don’t get it.
Other than this, all is fine. We are returning to the house tonight so I can do some house cleaning.
Take care and I can’t wait to see everyone at Uncle Roland’s 90th party.
Hugs,
Lina

Hello everyone,
We are dressed in our Red, White & Blue to go spend time at the RV. Our Wine & Dine folks are going to join us and we are going to eat Bar-B-Q style and listen to 4th of July Music to get in our patriotic spirit.
July 4th is such a thankful time of year. When I was a little girl I asked my father, “Why do we have wars?” “He said, “To stop communism and protect our freedom.” I have always remembered that. Then I married my Navy Guy, well, talk about patriotic! That’s really when I learned about it! So I thank all the service men out there fighting for our freedom and saying a pray.
We will be back home tomorrow morning after church.
So everyone, please have a safe and happy 4th. Hugs to all.

Thought I had better write. It’s June already. Happy Birthday to Pepere tomorrow.
Mother’s Day camping with all the kids and grandkids was so much fun. We want to do it again maybe not on a holiday. Here is a picture.

Liam, Memere, Eddie, Erin, Corinne, Lucie, Pappa, Brenna
Since my intestinal blockage I’ve (Lina) had all kinds of testing. So far all is fine. Now we are testing for why I sometimes have a problem swallowing. Ted and Judy, remember that time at your house? The doctor I have now, seems very thorough.
Bob is fine. He just saw his new Internist and liked him. He will see him again in 6 months.
Today after church we came home and had a nice breakfast in the back yard. We decided the nice weather is here to stay so we washed all the yard furniture. The yard looks pretty. Bob has planted some nice plants. This is the place for roses. They are growing well.
We hope you are all having a great weekend. Tomorrow Bob and I are planning on going to listen to some Jazz.
Hugs,
Bob & Lina

We are back home. We did get to see Ann, Julia and Clark. The are doing fine but sad. It will be a hard year for them – So many things to go through first time without Bill.
Today is haircut day. Thank God. I sure need it. I don’t look too unlike shaggy dog and my hair is white too.
We are going to bring the RV down today and get ready to go camping with the family for Mother’s Day weekend. We are so looking forward to getting together (all of us) in the outdoors. It will be fun. The weather promises to be nice until Monday.
I’ll write more later. Hugs to all.

We are having a fun time taking care of Brenna (2 years old) while her Mom and Dad are out of town for a wedding. I had a list of projects we were going to do and have done them all. But I think her favorite was going for ice cream. She gives her love freely which is a joy. We did not expect that because she is the granddaughter we see the least because she lives far from us and don’t see her as often. But we do have the computer that we can chat on and it helps for her to see us periodically. She was digging in the dirt yesterday with Pappa. Well that was a lot of fun for her and what a dirty little girl she was! She loves flowers. She picked a plant at the store she loved and they planted it. Guess what color. Yeah purplish. She carried it all through the store and into the car. She didn’t want to let go of it. That was definitely the one for her! Joe and Monique call often and talk to her on the computer. She loves it when they do that. That’s all for today. Big hugs, Bob & Lina

Hello everyone, today Bob saw the Oncologist and we are all happy with things. The blood tests came out fine and the doctor didn’t feel any lumps today. Yeah! The glands grow in size when the body doesn’t feel well so just because they are bigger, it doesn’t mean there is a lymphoma problem. That’s why they were swollen when Bob got Shingles. Anyway, as long as the lumps are quiet we are not going to do anything except “wait and watch”. We asked this doctor to recommend an internist/GP closer to home. Bob is going to switch soon. It will be more convenient. As for the shingles, they are still visible on Bob’s face and nose but not bad and he still gets twinges once in a while but it will get better over time.
Bob is getting busier at work at his little job. In July, August and September it will be very busy for him. But he loves it. So I go with him and stay at the RV. The past few weeks I’ve been making beaded necklaces/earrings for gifts.
We had a beautiful Easter with Ed and Elaine and kids and also Bob’s brother. We just found out that Ed has lost his job but are confident that he will find another soon. Until then he will watch the kids at home. Anyway, Erin just had her ears pierced. And Eddie, well what do I say about Eddie. He is full of mischief like his sister Erin and Dad.
David, Leslie and kids are fine. We saw them last Monday. Corinne and Lucie have been accepted to Catholic school for next year. They are growing fast. Liam is a cutie. His smile is so David.
Next week we are driving down to babysit Brenna for a week while Joe & Monique go out of town to a wedding. We are so looking forward to that. I have a few things in mind to keep her busy with us. Hopefully we will be able visit Ann and the kids while we are down there.
This is it. Take care and hugs to all.

Hello Everyone,
Easter is Sunday and I didn’t get my Easter cards created to send out. It sure doesn’t feel like Easter time. It’s raining and it’s windy. We will leave tomorrow to be with Ed, Elaine and the kids and hopefully also Bob’s brother.
Bob and I want to wish you all a beautiful Easter and a Spring time full of wonderful feelings.
Hugs,
